API Marine has successfully carried out start-up and commissioning of the advanced LPG Cargo Control system onboard “Bayamo” – first vessel in the series of four gas carriers, built at Shipyard Constructions Hoogezand BV in Foxhol, Holland and operated by Chemgas Shipping.
The system, which includes our well-proven level gauging sensors and level switches for LPG application, was supplied in May 2013 and has now been fully commissioned together with our local Dutch partner.
The LPG carrier “Bayamo” has been designed to fulfill IMO Green Passport requirements, ensuring that all the equipment used onboard, including API Marine Cargo Control system, is subject to strict environmental friendly conditions and rules. Read more about TSS/Cargo LPGTM system.
