API Marine Sensors, Alarm Monitoring and Control Systems delivered to two 154,5 meter LOA impressive, combined Car Railway Passengers Ferries being built at Baku Shipyard, Azerbaijan Shipyard Hull 108/109 for Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping.
First Ferry of the two sisterships (photo) delivered December 2020 named “Azerbaijan“.
The new combined Car Railway Passenger Ferries carry railways trains meeting Russian Standard with gauge railway 1520 mm, including dangerous cargoes, cargo vehicles with stern cargo handling operations.
There are accommodations for 100 passengers.
Baku Shipyard is a new modern shipyard established on 10 May 2011 (yard development phase ) and the operation phase started 20 September 2013 with shipbuilding and ship-repair facility in the Caspian Sea. Main activity of the Baku Shipyard consists of the construction of a variety of vessels ranging from offshore support vessels, general cargo vessels, tugboats, crane vessels, specialized vessels, and passengers’ vessels to tankers. Fast growing BAKU shipyard also undertakes ship repair and conversion of such vessels.
API Marine scope of supply includes Integrated Computer System (ICS) – Alarm, Control and Monitoring (System TSS/Control) – Remote Level and Draught measuring System (TSS/BMS) and numbers of Level, Pressure, Temperature switches and Ultrasonic Flowmeters.
